Just the rambling adventures of me
Throughout most of college, my seat in my assorted boats was usually three seat. And it was generally a port seat, even though odd numbered seats are usually starboard. So my perma-three seat became part of my college crew team experience, both for its reliability and for its unusual configuration. Thus, the name.

Seat assignments includes the location - there are 4 in MD, 2 Baltimore 2 Washington. But yes, there is a specific seat that I am being required to sit in.
